Moldy Dispensers

We all have the same kind of problems...

Subject: How about detergent dispenser?

OK, I got the Techno-Fresh and four gallons of white vinegar (maybe I'd better get more start with the two shock runs with two gallons each and see how things go....that would be the most cost effective) and I'm just about ready to spend a day cleaning my Whirlpool Duet washer.  I pulled out the detergent dispenser and was horrified at the mildew inside it and inside the opening it goes into!  I suppose I should have been on top of this a lot sooner, but frankly it never occurred to me I had to clean something which is supposed to clean things! The entire washer looks like that inside. The super shock will clean it out (eventually)

I've looked online for suggestions for removing mildew from plastic -- the dispenser doesn't come completely apart (at least I'm afraid of breaking the part that doesn't), and has lots of crevices and crannies.  If I use your gasket paste on it (with a toothbrush), will it do the job?   Yes      Is it safe to use the gasket paste inside that opening – yes         Will it fall into some place it shouldn't? no it will clean out the line         have you and/or your customers found an effective way to clean it?  Clean as much as you can with the paste and then just use TechnoFresh regularly and it will clean out the whole system right on down the line..      Once it's clean, will regular use of Techno-Fresh in the laundry keep that area from getting mildewy again? Yes that is the intent of TechnoFresh. The super shock cleans out the machine and TechnoFresh keeps it that way. You should need only 4 shocks a year if that.

To be successful you must cut back on detergent to one tablespoonful per load and I really mean it.

I'm so glad I found your site . . . may save me a fortune in replacing a relatively new and expensive washer Yes, it will

I get that a lot. The usual suggested gratuity is only 10%........

Boy if I ever really got that…….
